I am not a group people. That is why I seldom join group run. Not that I don't like to be in group, is the timing I cant commit and I don't go in places that got ERP.
In group can know many runners. Also running with someone can motivate you more. Group also good if you lazy to train or don't know how. In group sure got a certified or own self claim coach that will give you what to train today. It may be interval, tempo, easy run or whatever. Group also can create new lovers. I in Little Toys Runner group. But we don't run together. We spam more in group chat than running. Cause our group contain runners in different area. North South East West, so very hard to find a place to gather and run. If you ask me every week waste money to go a far far place and run. I rather run outside my home.
They also think the same.
Sometime runner think that you are in this group so long, should stick to the same group. To me no need loyalty in running group. Group are mend(meant correction by Eugene Teo) for runner to go. Don't have to be in one group. 

Group only got few problem.
1, Many Gossip that you can't prevent
2, Many Conflict cause you can't please everyone
3, Many Boycotting cause maybe your face they don't like
4, Many Competing timing better a bit and yaya
5, Many CKP gei gei act like not CKP
6, Many Guys more than Girls
7, Many Girls more than Guys
8, Many Models who see camera will pose like Victoria Secret
9, Many Promotion but not many will buy
10, Many Races discount but all wanted free

I never say running group no good, I only say you don't have to stick to one group. Eventually as a runner you will find what suit you. You may like trail and be a trail runner, you may like obstacle and be a Spartan bare your body and wear a underwear and chant ahoo ahoo ahoo (aroo aroo aroo correction by Siu) . Or be a speed runner join the elite podium group and train till no night no day and skinny like never eat for months. What I mean is running also got many different group. Trail will say Road Runner no good, Spartan will say Trail running no challenge, and I have not count Triathlon and Iron man.

You can always flip like prata, but if you really in a group, please don't split group. I know some runners like to choose the people they like and split. To me those are bad. They can split a group they can split you too. Those are the real Prata man.

Again you can join any group you prefer but don't need to stick to it. If it getting bore or you kanna boycotted, just leave. There will be a better group that will like you. The most important is that which ever group you are in. That you feel happy in it. And this group in anyway benefit you.

How to train till your poop is hard

Every time I go a race for long distance, my worry is not can I finish or not. My worry is got toilet or not. Pooping sometime is a big concern for some runners. Yes you may say that you can poop before you go to race mah. But I cant control my poop want to come out or not.
The first thing I wake up I go to poop. But nothing come out. But when it time to run. I felt like pooping. Don't you all have this experience?
Cause of this problem. I find my own solution. So before a race, I will eat porridge. Fruit vege all avoid. Porridge will harden your poop. That for me. You may be eat other things to harden the poop. So once it harden even you go toilet it also hard to come out. So when you run you only will fart. After the race finish. You can just go portable toilet and let it out. That simple.
This is only my matter. You can find your own. But pooping in a race can slow your timing if half way you go. So it better you poop first or tahan and poop later. Young runner shouldn't have this problem bah. If have better go see doctor. Mean you getting old.
Anyway human poop, what to do. It parts of the race too. So whatever you eat before a race is important. If you are only just run for fun than you eat shit I also don't care. But if you are going for PB or Podium. Do watch out whatever you eat and drink.
Don't be shy to go toilet if you really cannot tahan. Everybody poop. You may say I am a ass, but everyone need one. That where the shit come out. And you a ass too.

Why you can go so many event everyday? You must be rich?

Everyday if you check your Facebook, you will see many of your running friends go here go there like they everyday got event to go. When before I become active. My Facebook friends weeks or month than post something. But after you got so many active friends your FB become active too. 

And you can see many non active friends or relative start unfollow your FB. That understandable. I think in their mind they thought that I everyday also got fun things to do or event to run. They cant take it keep seeing you so happy go here go there. Hello I also see my friend fly here fly there. I no passport also no fly here and there. I so old don't even know how to book a hotel. But this topic is about why so many event to go.

First you need to know. When you are single and non active. You will always stay home do nothing. Maybe download drama and see or watch porn. But after few years staying like a prisoner you will start to depress. Going out is the solution. But you got no friend and where can you go? I started by using a app call meetup. I pay for the event so that I will force myself to go. Even I don't like that event at all. That is just a start. But if you don't like to pay, now activesg and many CC got free event you can go to. Don't be afraid that you don't know anyone there. The people who going to the event many also dumb dumb don't know anyone. The more time you go, the more people you will know. This is the start to be active, once you are active, you life will change. You be more happy. Believe me. So don't jelly I go so many event. Now many I go is free. Just look out for Facebook Event, meetup and CC. Event is always there. You just need to go.



And there is so many free running group to join. It just take you and hour or two. If you dont like running can just go there wayang wayang to make friends. If running not you cup of tea. Than go coffee like Zumba, dragonboat, HIIT workout, Torture Camp, Walking, Hiking, Yoga, just go out. I don't care. You keep on jelly my FB.
Be Brave, but you no need Be Wayang.not your style.

How to find Girlfriend or Boyfriend in Running?

The topic is straight, finding your partner in the running community. Why running groups and not other activities. Let me analysis.
Running gather all kind of people. And running in a group give you more opportunity to know many. Male and female. They go to groups for many reason, maybe for training to be fit, maybe to know more friend, maybe single too long need company. But how to find a partner there? Very simple.
You must know yourself first. I am not talking about your looks, look not so important in finding a partner. I am talking about your personality. If you are not those weird weird type than it ok. It all up to your personality.
So How. Here are what you got to do -
1, Join as many running group as you can.
2, introduce yourself first, Don't be shy, shy cant find partner.
3, Join the group for makan after run.
4, Speak up, try conversation about running stuff, since you are in a running group.
5, Once you get to the group long enough, you can start to be close to the one you like.

What is PB? Why so many wanted it so badly?


Many runners when start running will not know what is PB. PB stand for Personal Best. Personal best timing of your run. Not personal best timing you shit.
When I started, I also blur blur why the runners keep saying to me, did you PB?
I thought they ask me did I go PB pump petrol.
But why so many runner so obsess with PB. Improve by few second happy like just give birth. Try run for few years you will be bore of PB. 
Really what is personal best. Its just a timing that you think you have improve. Why I say you think. Cause if you run a 10km of Mount Faber hill and your timing is 1 hr 30 min. Than you go run East Coast Park also 10km and timing is 1 hr, are you saying to me you PB. Both is 10km, so you are telling me you improve by 30min. No right! Any kids also know the calculation is not right. One is a hill run one is flat road. So this cannot consider PB.
Even you run a race event, same 10km but route is different also cannot consider PB right.
To consider a PB, you must run a same route same distance than consider PB. 
I think PB is just gimmick wording. Yes if you train sure timing will improve more or less. This common sense. If train cant improve mean something wrong.
You ever run a race event that say 10km but the route when you run only 9. Something km or less. I got a Runner friend say he PB 5km 20min but the actual distance only 4.2km. So you are telling me this also call PB. No right. Monkey also can count.
Really to get a PB not that hard. Just need to pace yourself the timing you want. But a realistic timing. That you can reach. Than train for it. Try do more tempo run.
If you want to have a real PB, try 5km Park Run at East Coast or West Coast every Saturday morning. They run the same route with timing. I wonder when will Park Run go to Punggol? 
PB really not that important, important is a you run safe. If you feel like going fast. Please be my guest. If not just relax relax run.
What the hoo hah if everyone also PB. It like old news. If you really want a Facebook awareness. Go for DNF, sure many comments.
Don't aim for PB, go aim Podium.
Be Brave all go first wave and Wayang Podium. Cannot Podium got photo in-front also not bad.

This Elite saying you can always heard or see it. It mostly use by Singapore Runners
I google the meaning of Elite it said  the richest, most powerful, best-educated, or best-trained group in a society. But what I see is nothing close to the meaning. Maybe the best trained group can put into elite quote.
In Singapore running society, we runner like to anyhow call others Elite! In facebook post or comment also. You will see comment example if you PB, others will comment Elite. Some call me Wayang Elite, but what is really a elite. 

How you define it.
If a runner always podium, yes that a true Elite.
If a runner very popular, that a so call Elite.
If a runner run very far, that a distance Elite.
If a runner wear like a elite, that a running fashion Elite.
If a runner take photograph, that a photographer.

Elite in Singapore can be anything. For me, cause I too popular. When someone call my name but I don't know or don't remember names, I will call the runner Elite!
I am old cant remember names, and so many friend not sure which is from Facebook which one from Instagram. If I don't remember, you just look at me and I will say I know you right, take selfie take selfie.

But Elite this calling also can make friend. Many runner heard people call them elite they will say no lah or you than Elite. But no need shy, elite is just a way of saying hello. So next time people call you Elite. You just reply Yes I am, Come we take wefies.

To be Elite also not easy. Elite got great responsibilities. It like a Superhero. It like a spring roll model.
Actually the real Elites are those podium runners who always in the top. But the elite word is being abuse so many ways and it is not fresh anymore. So the new word we call Top Runners is Tok Kong but I spell Top Kong. Like King Kong.
But sometime Elite is a sour word to use, like your boyfriend Elite leh(actually he want to be your bf), you Elite leh 1000km no problem lah(atually he think you cannot make it), you so Elite wont dnf lah ( actually he hope you dnf).

How To Really Run a PB by training yourself

How to get you PB? So simple. I did mention in my Instagram. The secret is pacing. Pacing as in your time. Not ask people pace you. Here is how -
1, You need a GPS watch with Pace Alert.
2, Train a lot of interval.
3, Train a lot of Tempo.
4, Learn to Breath.
5, Correct your Running Form.
1, GPS watch is important if you going to train yourself, if you don't have still can just get a stopwatch. Is the same as long as you know the pace timing that you want to run. But GPS watch at least it record everything down so that you can revise it.

2, Train or run a lot of interval,  many elites train their speed by interval. If you a beginner, go find a track and run maybe 200m x 6. Than once train till it is easy for you. Go up 400m or 600m or you can just change to x10 or more. Until you reach 1000m or more. Interval is to train your intake of oxygen, so that your blood can flow better in your body. Running in a stress level, your body need to command your brain to suck more blood let it flow better in your body. Once it get use to it. You will feel easy.

3, Tempo is the real deal. Once you can manage the pace that you want, try it in a tempo run. Let say you last time run 7min per km that your fastest. Than you train interval and found that you can run a 6.45 min per km pace. Than you tempo and try run 6.45 min pace for 4km. Each km maintain 6.45 min pace and below. After 4km rest and do it again. So simple, kids also can do it.

4, When you are running a tempo. Try to listen to your breathing. Breath into your nose than out to your mouth. Try every breathing matter.  2 in 1 out , or 2 in 2 out. See which one you are comfortable with.

5, In the process of you training run. Keep telling yourself in your mind to correct your running form or pose. Try which matter can make you faster. Sometime try longer strike length, sometime try faster cadence. Always aware that your form is correct. 

Try to download the Vdot02 calculator and calculator the timing you aim for. So that you know what pace time you should run. It very useful. or you can use Justrunlah Pace Calculator.

After you train like that for 6 month. Go Park Run and try it.
That all the 5 simple steps. Monkey also can do that. Go learn and let me know you PB or not. If don't understand can ask me. I charge $500 per min consultant fees.

How to be Wayang Trail Elite Runner

Trail Runner are different from Road Runner. They need hill or mountain to conquer. They need mud grass tree to breath. They are different kind of bleed.
So how to be a Wayang Elite Trail Runner?
1, You need to show face at bukit timah hill, mount faber or MR every week.

2, You need to have a fancy Hydration Vest. That is a must. No vest you will not look like trail runner.
 
3, You need to be colorful. Your tights your cap whatever you wear need to be colorful so that you can show off, you a peacock.

4, You need atas trail shoe, Hoka lah, solamon lah all those big brand even you wear till your feet pain like hell.

5, You need black toe nails, the less toe nail the more elite you are and also post your ugly toes in Facebook.

6, You need to travel, just to let other know you are richer than them. Malaysia don't count. 

7, You need to DNF many times, So that you got excuse to travel back to that mountain.

8, You need to take wefie with Real Elites only, the rest you don't consider elite. You no need take out your phone. Must act you more elite. And yaya.

9, You need to shout at hiker if they hiking at MR blocking your way.

10, You need to throw your rubbish secretly but still act that you will never do that. 

11, You need to know speak Monkey so that if you meet one, you can communicate with them. 

12, The last point is most important. You need to make a lot of money to be a Trail Runner. 

To me, Trail is harder than a Road Run. A 10km of trail you need a 20km effort to finish it. And trail you need to really spend a lot. The traveling the stay the race fees. Imagine every week you travel cost you min $500, it mean a month $2000. Some even cost more. Not including the many many item you buy just to get into the race. So if you really into Trail, do prepare to go rob a bank. That why no trail runner even write down how much they spend on trail races per year. If any trail runner willing to share, do give me a comment.
Please understand why trail runner need to spend more, cause Singapore really not much Trail or high mountain. The highest is Bukit Timah Hill. Where monkeys and human share. The Planet of the Apes.
I love trail too, if only I can afford it.🙈🙉🙊

The Running Photographers you must know

When running in a race, you will see many photographer hiding one corner. Just to capture your shack shack face.  When I first started running, I thought all the event photographers are payed. Until I know them than I realize many of them are volunteers. They waste their time just to capture you running. Why? That I don't know. Maybe at home boring go out breath so fresh air or maybe they like you. 
Running not suppose to come with free photos but this few heroes just sacrifice for you. I always give big respect for photographers. Why?
1, They shot for free. 
2, They carry big heavy camera just to capture you.
3, They stay longer hours in the event side than you.
4, They cannot go toilet need to pee in a bottle.
5, They sometime under the sun, the rain and the haze.
6, They even don't like your face still need to take photo for you.
7, After the event they still need to go home take long hours to go thought the photos.
8, They make you popular.
9, They sometime spend me food.
10, They say I am Handsome.
11, They camera damage in event they have to come out their own money.
To all Photographer. Thank You for the effort.
But sometime I can see fake photographer. You ask me there really got fake photographer? Yes, Why? I don't know. Maybe they try to be popular. Or maybe I think too much. Cause being a event photographer many will follow your Facebook page. Why I say fake. Some only carry a camera gei gei take but no photo come out. Some only just want to get the T Shirt for free. Many reason this you need to ask the fake one. I even met one who always saw me ask me pose but no photo. 
In the past I really search for me and all my friends photo. Now I lesser play Facebook so never search for it. And I thanks those who tag my photo.
