Everytime I visit a country, I will observe.
I got the opportunity to visit this country. Cambodia Siem Reap. I got no idea what this country got and never Google about it. I only know it is famous of the temple and land mine. I very bad in memorize name, so don't ask me where is that place that I go.
1, The airport is very small and not much custom check like other country. Once we reach the airport. Chop the passport and just walk out like that.
2, In Cambodia they use Tuk tuk bike as a form of transportation for tourists. Tutu bike is a horse carriage but pull by a motorbike.
3, At Pub Street their beer is very very cheap. Beer is $0.50 USD but coke is $1.50 .
4, The USD you use for paying must follow their rules. I ask the guide of Triple A Adventure Cambodia Rang, he say cause the local will need to change the USD back to Khmer dollar.
5, If you visit in weekdays, you might be the only guest in the whole hotel.
6, Tips is not compulsory but a few dollars will make their days. Giving tips like giving Ang pow in Chinese New year. You see who serve you better, you give more. Mostly we only give USD$1. We give the most tips to the Guide name Rang, hope he use it to pay his fees to learn more Chinese. Their average salary is only USD$100 per month, so giving $1 tips to them will help them a lot.
7, Many of them understand simple English. But now they need to learn more Chinese.
8, From what I see, many Ang Mo love this country. You can see many many, the second is Chinese.
9, Mostly the restaurant, hotel and cafe got WiFi, the rest of the place you need to find .
10, The Vehicles here all go very slow cause of the road conditions, so to go from one place to another may take some times. I mean a very long time.
11, Cambodia is 95% land mines clear, but not advisable to do hike or trek by yourself cause even you got guide, the guide also don't know where is the 5% land mines.
12, The Quad bike advantage is the longest ATV I ever ride. The guide bring you to their country side where you can see sunset and paddy fields. And also many many cows and buffaloes.
13, Every activities we book, sure got free tuk tuk bike come and pick us up and bring us back. We never spend money on Tuk Tuk at all in all the days in Cambodia.
14, In Siem Reap, it not only see temples. If you are not a temple person like me. There is many others activities to play.You can try Triple A adventure Cambodia
15, In Siem Reap do try the street food. It cheap, mostly a plate of rice is only USD$1.50 . If go restaurant will be USD$5.
16, If you go for Angkor Zipline, be prepared it may not end at the time stated. So if you need to fly back to Singapore or check out of hotel. Do let them know early so they can arrange.
We stay at The Moon Residence and SPA. Siu decided to book this hotel cause others is fully book. The name of the hotel don't sound like a hotel but it a good stay. No noise and sound from the busy traffic.
Very near to Pub Street in walking distance. The staff here know simple English and treat you like King. Next time you want to visit Siem Reap do check this hotel out. Tell them you know Kim C and you can stay for free in you dream.

Overall Siem Reap Cambodia is a great place to visit, all the people there are very friendly and helpful. Maybe cause many are from the villages. Come with a pure and simple heart to treat us tourist like a family. Even their life is not as stressful as Singapore. But can see their country is catching up. So it time to visit this country before a $0.50 beer become $5.
