Got this opportunity to dine in the fine classy restaurant. The Lewin Terrace located at 21 lewin terrace fort cunning park.
You all know I ride a motorcycle so when I reach I still wonder where I should park. But the valet saw me and ask me to park inside free. I almost cry, this save me 65 cents.

After parking Siu and me follow the sign and walk up. The route to the restaurant is very romantic. We took some photo before heading to lunch. 

In the restaurant, a female Japanese looking serve us and walk us in. This old bungalow building really very high class. With fine music and the atmosphere is very calm and quiet.
After seated the waiter place a big nepkin on our legs. Also here come the menu. The waitress explain the 2 course 3 course lunch on how to choose. So we continue our order. Even dou the menu is all wording but we anyhow choose like buying 4D. If the food is good, whatever you choose also will be good. 

Siu order the soup of the day, portabelle mushroom and we both choose the desserts buffet. For me I order Cured Salmon with pickle vegetables and Grilled Pork loin.  We also ask for cold water.

In a mintue after order the serving is very fast. The waitress first do the cutlery setting than the bread and butter was served immediately.  At first I thought the butter was a white chocolate but no it a butter. The bread was fresh and hot so once the butter was spread into the bread it melt into it. The first bite of the bread, my tears drop. I was touched. The taste felt like home.

Follow by the starter, the soup of the day and my cured salmon was served. I took a fork and scoop the small pieces of salmon mixed and put in my mouth. OMG OMG OMG. It like heaven. I give some to Siu and faster eat all up so Siu when ask to have some more I already finish. Than I see Siu eat so slow. I volunteer ask to eat her soup of the day. It a corn soup. But it taste like cereal. 

Here come our main dish. Mine is Grilled Pork loin and Siu is Portabelle Mushroom.
Suddenly the Japanese Chef stand beside me and pour the sauce. He also intro his cooking. With the look of it I am sure this grilled pork will not be disappointed. So I faster faster took the knife and fork cut a piece and OMG OMG OMG. In my entire life I never eat a pork that taste like beef. It so juicy and tender. Make me want to scold vulgar language cause it so good I lost my words. In my mind it keep saying WTF WTF how he cook like that? Again I give a piece to Siu and faster I faster eat all. But really it very very good. I seldom finish a full piece of pork chop if I order outside. But this pork is different. A pork that disguise as a beef. Who can think of that. Only a genius chef.
As for the Portabelle Mushroom I do taste a small piece. That I taste not enough so can't say much. 

And now come to the Matcha desserts buffet. The display was classy and we are the first who order it I think. So I took a few different choices and relax with a cup of cuppocino coffee. It all got their own unique taste and we seat there and enjoy slowly like two girly who having a high tea.

Thank to the facebook lucky contest win a $100 voucher so that we can have this wondetful meal. Even though Siu need to top up 30 dollar but it worth it. I don't think i will ever come again so let pray I kanna toto.

But after that we want for a movie at Suntec all motorbike parking is full and the B2 gantry is close so cannot go B2 so we cycle around till we saw a girl park in a open space and we just park behind her and went for the movie.  After movie wanted to go home and saw my bike kanna wheel cramp. There a note there so I call and the security came say to unlock must pay $107. I think no point just pay and go. I am not angry at all. I know today I off guard. And spend time with Siu is more important than the payment. It just a lesson learn. Tell me never to go Suntec again. If go must find a parking lot than can come down. Dont ask me why I anyhow park. If you see where I park you will say it a scam cause to me a wheelcramp for $107 is too much. I kanna parking fine before the most is $80.

So now it break even. There no free lunch in this world. $100 voucher become $107 wheelcramp payment.
For all bikers beware of parking in Suntec. I ask the security he say today got 5 kanna. Mean they make 500 plus today. No wonder so good give motorbike free go in. Just to set a trap for them. Cunning parking management.  The lunch so good till I want to say vulgar words, now for wheel cramp I can really shout out KNN KNN KNN.

What I have learned from the Jeju Journey

I hate to travel

I never book a hotel or a flight before in my entire life. All the booking is done by my girlfriend Siu. I just writing what I saw. I may be wrong, but who care.
The journey to Jeju island

The Flight
From Singapore flight to Jeju Island is very troublesome. You need to from Singapore fly one hour to KL Airport and do a Transit. But in KL airport they do not have direct Transit. So you need to get out of klia1 and get a free shuttle bus at level 1 to klia2.
So if you are from oversea you need to get Visa to get out Klia1.
If your flight is in the morning you can book a capsule hotel at KL airport 2.
And do not be late. I got a person who are with us. Late for 5 minutes and they don't let her board the plane. 

The Home Stay
We stay at our Korean guide Mr Kang house. It A AB&B. I ask AB&B is Apartment Bed & Breakfast I think. Home stay got everything inside same like a home. So very convenient. The benefits is that if you are in a group, you don't have to wait for other cause all stay in one house. If hotel all in different room need to wait people who like to be late.

The TV Program

Jeju TV programs really nothing much. If only you know what they are talking. Their TV no subtitles. Even English channel. No wonder they can't learn English. And most of the channel sell stuff. If you watching a English channel within every 15 min there will be a very long advertisement. Very annoying.

The Cave

If you are going to visit any of the cave in Jeju. You better bring a jacket and umbrella. It is cold wet and dark. It so dark and cold I give up on taking any photo or videos. Half way I already want to come out. It so cold till my finger cannot bend.

The island

Jeju island one good thing is that there is free WiFi everywhere. I not saying there is WiFi in the mountains or hills. But many place got Jeju WiFi for free. So no need worry. Many of the Jeju know Chinese but not English. 

The Mountain and Hills

I found that there lot of it. Some need to pay some no need. If you going to Jeju. The best is to hike all their mountains and hills. In the summit you will not see many hikers on top, it not like Malaysia where many hikers crowd on the summit to take photo. It very open and the views is spectacular. It like heaven.

The Waterfall

I think for waterfall you can skip this. Waterfall got nothing much and no like you can go into the waterfall. It all only for photo taking. Can't really enjoy it. Some you can't even touch the water don't even talk about falls.

The Hot-spring

This the best if you don't mind your nana or nini other seeing it. In Jeju. If got hot springs. Chose the cheap one where only got for the hot springs. The sauna is waste of time. The spring water is from cold to very hot. But you need to be naked when going into the hot spring room. Don't worry no one know you there. Your nana big or small they don't care. I think only you yourself care.

The Food

Honestly I think the food is not bad, it got their own taste. The Korean taste bah. Don't compare it taste with Singapore korean food. And their price is not expensive. Almost same as Singapore. But to me their breakfast is too heavy. Rice or mee as breakfast is too much for me. Another thing is their small vege in Chinese where they serve you even meal. It can be refill as many as you can. I find it a bit waste of food. Our group many do not eat it. also very hard to find Halal food

The Shop

Their shop close very early. About 8 pm almost every shop and market close. So if you go there for shopping. You be disappointed. I know ladies will go Innerfree. Do try the outlet, it cheaper than the one at the tea plantation there. And where every souvenir you want to buy. Buy it before go to airport. Don't buy in the airport. It price is way most expensive. Like a key-chain the cost 1000 won. The airport sell 5000 won. 

Recycle

Jeju people very serious about recycle. So if you throw rubbish need to know where to throw. Even in the AB&B also need to do that. Not like Singapore can anyhow. And if you order a coffee. They will want to know you take out or drink there. If drink there they will give a porcelain cup. If take away a paper cup. And if you take away you not allow to drink there.

Overall this is a great trip. Siu choose this cause this is more a hiking trip than those stupid shopping trip. I don't shop. Keep buying thing that you don't use for what. Go buy experience better.
